Birds of Childhood is an acrylic painting series based on birds that visited the bird feeder at my grandparents' place. When they were taking care of us in the autumn/wintertime, the morning routine for us was that my grandpa went out to fill the feeder in the morningtime and I was watching the birds arrive while having my breakfast.
It is a nice memory.
Goldfinches were the rarest of the whole bunch and was like a jolly joker moment seeing them.
